CBL Data Recovery Representative To Participate In Tokyo Go-Game Olympics
TORONTO, ONTARIO-- Toronto resident and CBL Data Recovery
Technologies Inc. lab manager Yimei Cao (along with her partner
Zhiqi Yu) have recently won the 2000 Go Canadian Championships
beating out three other pairs to earn the right to represent
Canada at the world Go championships to be held in Tokyo, November
16-20, 2000.
Having developed in China between 3,000 and 4,000 years ago, the
board game Go (called Wei Ch'i in China and Baduk in Korea)
contends with backgammon for the right to be called the oldest
game still played in its original form. Today it is played by
millions in Asia and thousands elsewhere.
